Spanish Caper Berries
The caperberry is the yield of the Mediterranean shrub which gives us the dainty, brilliant caper. These Spanish caperberries are the size of it of olives, with a flavor similar to that of the caper, but milder, with a meaty, sweet-tart flesh. Caperberries bring their biting season to barmy ragouts, salads, and bask trays, and make a snappy cocktail garnish.
