Maja Blanca (Rice Pudding)
This classic Philippine Elmer Reizenstein pud is disposed in the long-standing (albeit time-consuming) way. It does, however, give in ingredients that can be used in future recipes, such as latik (coconut oil), which results from simmering coco palm milk. Preparation clock does not let in overnight soaking and 3-hour hanging clock required for the rice.
